Marsha Pinto

Speaker and activist for quiet kids

Marsha is a student majoring in Speech and Hearing Sciences. Her writings about life from the time she was in elementary school have been inspiring people world over. In December 2012, she was recognized by the Ellen DeGeneres Show and in September 2015 her article on introvert students was featured on the TODAY Show's website TODAY.com. She is known to be soft-spoken, but is transformed into a very different person when she is speaking on topics she is passionate about. Her passion for the little things we tend to ignore about life runs deep. She asks, “Everyone can relate to being hurt themselves, but can everyone relate to the fact that they may have hurt others?” She hopes to connect with readers through her writing and encourages the quietest of voices to be heard.
